UK charity Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) has been working with aerospace company Gravity Industries since 2020 to develop jet suits as a new transport alternative for its paramedics. After just six days of training, GNAAS paramedic Jamie Walsh successfully completed a hover flight over the hills of the Lake District using a Gravity jet suit as a trial mission, flying 1.2 miles (1.9 km)
