This is one of my favorite ways to do dumbbell bench presses. @that1legmonster showed it to me and it’s stuck ever since (thank you brother). The bench press and pushup are essentially inverted variations of each other in terms of the upper body biomechanics. The fixed hand and body placement in the pushup however create a clash in your mechanics between how you’re SUPPOSED to move and how you ARE moving.
