I’ve been testing a new open-source greenscreen keying approach called 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗞𝗲𝘆—and it tackles the actual hard part of keying: 𝘂𝗻𝗺𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗴. When you shoot on green, edge pixels aren’t simply “foreground” or “background.” They’re mixed (𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿, 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗿, 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀, 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶-𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆).
