Diving backwards ❌ Diving forwards ✅ 🐺 @quinns1gk In my career, I have made many many saves where I dove backwards to be able to rip the ball out of the net… BUT Goalkeeper technique is about making saves as simple and consistent as possible. Diving forwards allows you to hold the ball easily, and tip the ball around the post easily.
