City of Roswell will be closing a portion of Woodstock St. on Feb. 14, from Highway 9 (Alpharetta St.) to Minhinette Dr., for the removal of a diseased tree in Old Roswell Cemetery.

Some Roswell residents are fighting to protect a black walnut tree on the historic Mimosa Hall property. The city cut down dozens of trees as part of a plan to turn the property into an event space.
